While several brands have undertaken the #10yearchallenge that has taken the internet by storm this year, McDonald’s latest attempt might be the best take so far. The brand has indulged in aggravating nostalgia amongst its patrons by offering prices which were on their menu back in the year 2009. All the customers need to do is, download the new app which was launched by Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt Ltd earlier this month, and show it on the counter to avail the discount.

However, this offer is only valid for a limited period of time, here only till 1st of February and valid only across West and South India. According to an update by the brand, the app is also offering customized offers based on the preference of the users. It is giving a host of exciting offers on delectable burgers, exquisite McCafe beverages and appetizing sides every day, making visits to McDonald’s even more enjoyable than before.

The new app is a comprehensive one-stop shop for all McDonald’s lovers. In addition to availing attractive customized offers, with a new and expanded menu, customers can also share their feedback and find their nearest McDonald’s restaurant on this app. In short, it’s as quick and efficient as it gets.

“As the 10-year challenge gained momentum, we at McDonald’s wanted to do something more than just posting a picture or putting a tweet out on social media. Over the years, we have provided unparalleled value to our customers. Through our own 10-year challenge, we wanted to provide our customers with a unique value proposition, and reinforce the fact that while we may have evolved over the last 10 years, we still put our customers above all – we still continue to deliver unparalleled value,” said Akshay Jatia, the General Manager of Brand Extensions Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited, commenting on the ten-year challenge.

Speaking further on the ‘McDonald’s’ app launch, Jatia mentioned, “We are committed to enhancing our digital capabilities and leveraging technology to deliver improved value and convenience to our customers. The new McDonald’s app, that lets our customers avail of a slew of attractive in-store offers at their fingertips, is just one step in this direction.”

The McDonald’s app is available on both iOS and Android platforms. All you need to do is search for ‘McDonald’s’ on Play Store or iOS store. After downloading the app, one can select their country region and preferred language. After these few quick motions, the customer is all set to explore and redeem attractive offers from the nearest McDonalds outlets.
