Cashify, an old mobile phone buying and selling platform, has collaborated with Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao as the first brand ambassador. The current partnership will help the online firm in further growth due to the actor’s strong identity among Indian youth.

Cashify is a rising startup that is known for providing an online platform for buying and selling old electronic gadgets including android phones, iPhones, laptops, tablets, and others. The smartphone buyback category is one of the major operations of Cashify.
To strengthen its operations further, Cashify has signed a multi-year contract with actor Rajkummar Rao as the startup’s first brand ambassador.
As per the agreement, Rao will promote the Cashify products and services on different digital platforms and will join the different startup’s campaigns to grow its customer base.
Cashify believes that Rajkummar Rao’s personality matches the brand’s philosophy. It will help to establish brand ethos, which is reliability, responsiveness, approachability, and dynamic personality.

Founded in 2013, Cashify used to provide its products and services related to refurbished electronic gadgets online. It has now decided to expand its business operations in offline space as well after raising $15 million in the latest funding round led by Olympus Capital. The startup has also purchased UniShop to diversify its Omni category services to users.

Founded by Manocha, Nakul Kumar, and Amit Sethi, Cashify is a re-commerce platform that is used to sell old or used electronic gadgets—primarily smartphones, followed by laptops, tablets, desktops, and gaming consoles. Within seven years of its operations, Cashify has 1500+ workshops in different cities of India with 2+ million satisfied customers. The firm has also collaborated with global electronic gadget brands Apple, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, HP, Samsung, and Dell in India as a buyback partner.
