Over the previous 18 months, Amazon Prime has increased its Indian subscribers with at least 50 percent of the latest employees coming from smaller towns and towns as the home market continues to be the fastest increasing environment for the global e-tailer.

Amit Agarwal, who heads Amazon’s India activities, stated earlier that the indigenous market was the fastest-growing global market for the extensive paid membership program of the online retailer even after 30 months of release. “After looking at the 5 years ahead and trying to get the next 100 million people to purchase with us, the top 100 million clients will be converted into Prime Perspectives,” he said.
Amazon’s Plan to perform in the ongoing competition
The company may even speed up discounts and cash back along with Yatra, Swiggy and Dine Out, among others, the company mentioned, for its Amazon Pay company. This year, Prime Day, which is the global flagship event of the company, will extend to 48 hours from July 15 to July 16, starting at midnight.

In India, with the launch of 14 fresh Prime Video titles, Amazon will kick off its Prime Day running up two weeks previously from July 1 on Prime Video.
“In relation to recreation, customers are ready to pay for knowledge and procure in case they see value in it,” Sahi said. At current, Amazon Prime is priced for an annual subscription at Rs 999.
