Talking about specifications, Chetak electric scooters closely resembles our old Chetak scooter. You’ll hit a nostalgic feeling the time you look at Chetak electric scooters. The electric scooter comes with a metallic frame with IP67 rated 3kWh lithium-ion battery. Bajaj’s Chetak electric scooters will run approx. 50,000 km and comes with 3 years warranty.

Though the company says that the battery life of its lithium-ion units is about 70,000 km that was tested across different weather conditions, terrains and road surfaces. The company launched Bajaj electric scooters with a 50,000 km range.

Other players in the electric scooter range have more or less the same battery life. Revolt’s Intellicorp is offering electric scooters for 5years/50,000 km. Ather Energy offers battery life up to 50,000 km with 3 years warranty.

The automobile scenario is changing and more precisely the government is emphasizing electric vehicles. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road, Transport and Highways, praised Baja Auto for Chetak electric scooter and said: “I’m confident that this product will get lots of success in both domestic & international markets”.

While the entire automobile industry is solely dependent on petrol and diesel variants, its high time to bring a revolution in the sector. With Bajaj Chetak electric scooters, the revolution is about to hit the Indian automobile market.

Let’s hope the best for Chetak, as the scooter is rolling on Indian road nearly after 2 decades with its electric version. All the very best Bajaj electric scooters on behalf of NBB!
