BCCi announced CRED- A global community of creditworthy individuals and merchants as the third official partner of IPL 2020 for 3 years.

The company’s three-year contract with the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) will begin at the UAE with the new IPL season on 19 September.

IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel said, “IPL is one of the biggest sporting events not only in India but in the world, and we are delighted to have a brand as special and creative as Cred partner us. I’m sure more people across the country will find them as we embark on this exciting journey.”

During the tournament, the organization may initiate a range of deals. Anyone who pays their credit card bills during Power Play overs during IPL matches will win guaranteed cashback with one person standing a chance to win 100 percent cashback on their credit card bill payment.

At the end of each game, Cred will reward the Payer of the Match where, for each match, the 100th or highest bill-payer will receive some $100,000 in prize money, awarded at a special video conference ceremony and shown at the stadium on a ‘virtual fan box.’

Apart from that, members will also earn a host of rewards on the app through brand partnerships such as OnePlus, Myntra, Ajio, Puma, Lalit Hotels, Tata Cliq, JioSaavn, Audible, CureFit, Dineout, Syska, Samsung, Motorola, RBL (Reliance Brands), Hugo Boss, JioSaavn and WROGN, among others.

By making payments by credit card equally fun, we encourage every credit card holder to watch the matches to make digital purchases, clear debt, and boost their credit scores.

Earlier after Future Group abruptly pulled out and Dream11 elevated as IPL 2020 Title Sponsor, BCCI was left with two empty slots for this year’s IPL Partnership slots. BCCI can relax freely now with the Unacademy and CRED filling up the spaces.

Recently, the board has also signed the Unacademy Educational Platform as one of central sponsors of IPL for a three-year term in an INR 120-130 crore.
