The fandom of internet sensation CarryMinati has raised over Rs 11 lakh for Assam and Bihar flood-ravaged states through Charity Stream. Of the total, his contribution is Rs 1 lakh. The donations are to be given in equal proportion to the Assam and Bihar Chief Minister Relief Funds.
“This idea came up along with my business manager and cousin Deepak Char. By contributing Rs 10,31,137, the audience showed their support and love and I decided to add Rs 1,00,000 to that amount as my contribution,” said CarryMinati, whose real name is Ajey Nagar.

“Content production can not only be a commercial proposition based on one’s benefit. There must always be a give-back-to-society dimension of every sort of enterprise. I have always discreetly supported different causes and will continue to do so because I believe it is necessary to be there for another in turbulent times.
CarryMinati played games including Ghost Of Tsushima, Pacify, and PUBG in the charity feed, estimated at 90,000 with the highest concurrent viewers.

He has led to contributions such as Kerala Floods in 2018, Assam Floods, Bihar Floods, the 2019 Odisha Cyclone Fani, and the Australian bushfire in the past.
In collaboration with Wily Frenzy, he recently released his rap single, titled Yalgaar.
Media reports eralier reported that his YouTuber friend Ashish Chanchlani also took the initiative and donated Rs. 1 lakh each to Assam and Bihar CM Relief Fund. He also said he did this because he wanted other people to take an initiative and donate money to those affected by the floods in north-eastern parts of India as well.
In fight for Corona also, Youtubers donated money for PM fund. Bhuvan Bam donated Rs 10 lakh financial help through PM Relief Fund. Famous YouTuber Amit Bhadana wasn’t lagging behind in this job either. Amit Bhadana has donated Rs. 5 Lakh for PM relief fund. Ashish Chanchalani supported the PM Cares Fund with financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh.
