Dailyhunt has emerged as India’s leading news website, with more than 153 million monthly active users on their platform. According to their own research, each user spends an average of 27 minutes on their website and also consumes 15 billion pages views of content. They also see over 2 billion video views every month. As they are currently in a strong position, they have taken concrete steps to strengthen their leadership teams in order to ensure that they continue to see the success that they are seeing currently.
Dailyhunt recently announced the hiring of Sunil Mohapatra as the Chief Revenue Officer. Mr. Sunil Mohapatra will report directly to Mr. Umang Bedi, the president of the company.
Dailyhunt two more hires are Mr.Hires Bharat Zende as Director – Strategic Accounts from YouTube India and Surabhi Mishra as Director – Client Solutions for Dailyhunt from Facebook India.

Dailyhunt aims to hit the advertising led revenue of $100 million by 2020. Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, the venture capital arm of USA based investment bank is all set to invest $60 million round in Dailyhunt.

Previously, Mr.Sunil Mohapatra worked with Adobe and was the driving force behind the adoption of Adobe Cloud solutions in the South Asian market. Prior to that, he worked at HP.
