7InkBrews startup has brought Ex Indian cricketer Mahindra Singh Dhoni on board as an investor and brand ambassador of a Food and beverage startup. The company has launched different alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The startup has also started several chocolates under its banner. Inspired by MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot, the company has brought all chocolates and beverages under the brand name of Copter7.
7InkBrews is a Mumbai-based startup, founded by Mohit Bhagchandani and co-founded by Adil Mistry and Kunal Patel.
What does Dhoni say about 7InkBrews?
Dhoni looked quite happy with the vision of the startup. He praised the startup a lot in the latest press briefing. Talking about his association with 7InkBrews, he said:
“When you believe so strongly in the vision of a company, it makes the association that much more meaningful. I am truly elated to be a shareholder and brand ambassador for a company like 7Ink Brews.”
Initially, the startup will launch its products in Mumbai, Pune, Goa, and Bangalore. Later, Company has plans to expand its operations in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Punjab, and Chandigarh over the next few months.
Talking about the Copter7 brand name, the company said:
“Built around the attributes of a champion cricketer, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and inspired by his signature ‘helicopter shot’, hence the name Copter7.”
The company further added:
“The packaging and labelling is another noteworthy feature, inspired by Dhoni’s different jerseys and their colours.”
Mohit Bhagchandani, founder and managing director said that the brand is quite inspired by Dhoni’s “undying ‘can’t stop, won’t stop’ spirit”. It will capitalize on future operations.
The startup has collaborated with famous chef David Belo. He has Mysore-based chocolate brand Naviluna.
Talking about the ingredients of newly introduced chocolates, the company said:
“Using sustainably-grown cacao sourced from Southern India, these bean-to-bar chocolates are all-organic, vegan, and GMO-free, allowing you to appreciate the qualities of the Indian cacao bean in its full glory.”
About 7InkBrews
The startup has already got few other investors except Dhoni. The firm has raised $7 million. The firm is in advanced talks with investors to raise $15 million in the new funding round.
With the existing funds, the firm plans to expand its operations domestically and internationally. The startup is looking to collaborate with different established companies in the field of beverage.
In the international market, the startup first plans to show its existence in UAE and Singapore.
Mohit, the founder of 7InkBrews, looked pumped up with the investment and involvement of Dhoni.
