  • With this deal, Digital Vidya will expand to more cities through offline channels set by DSIM

One digital marketing institute buys another institute in an all-cash deal recently. With this deal, Digital Vidya will have a broader portfolio as well as offline presence.

Let’s have a look at both the institutes individually then talk about an all-cash deal.

Digital Vidya –

The company kicked off its operations as Social Media training workshops all over India in 2009. After the show is successful, the team decided to launch a 360-degree digital marketing certification course in 2013.

DSIM was founded by Kunal Choudhary in 2011 and since then, the institute kept growing only. From a small team, the DSIM went on to have a PAN India presence with as many industry trainers in its portfolio as possible.

It’s said to be the 2nd largest player in digital marketing training space in India with a presence in 12+ cities.

The Acquisition:

“Apurva Panwar, the co-founder, and ‘I leave DSIM with a lot of pride in having shaped careers & business of over 25,000 professionals and entrepreneurs. At DSIM we got the opportunity to work with really talented and amazing people. With Digital Vidya management we believe that DSIM is in the right hands and they will continue to impart impeccable digital marketing skills. We wish the new management every bit of success and good luck” – Kunal Choudhary (DSIM)

Summing Up:

There are more than 7000 digital marketing vacancies and skilled personnel that are yet to be filled. But if we look at digital marketing institutes, there are a plethora of choices and everyone claims to be the best of the best.

As the industry reaches a saturation point, we will continue to see more mergers and acquisitions. But only the best and fittest survive as the industry gets competitive than ever before.

Here is Next Big Brand congratulating Digital Vidya for their all-cash deal and all the very best to the institute to reap the best out of it.
