- WittyFeed merged into STAGE. This led to the renaming of one of the most important properties of WittyFeed – ‘Dunia Digest’ to ‘Nukkad Videos’.
Content led tech company, CatchUp Technologies was started to empower people through useful content by harnessing the power of social media, that can add some value to the viewer’s life. This aim led to the birth of two different brands, i.e STAGE, and WittyFeed. And as they (STAGE and WittyFeed) evolved into two different entities with the same goal – to produce premium and sensible content for BHARAT, to talk to the viewer in a tone and language one can relate, to be fun yet useful.
Since these two brands had the same goal, we thought of bringing these two brands together, where WittyFeed merged into STAGE. Earlier WittyFeed was started as a Content company for India, we observed that the name WittyFeed may not be ideal to build the right connection that we are looking for with the audience, so we decided to take this step in the journey of India Se Bharat Ki Or, and hence we rebranded WittyFeed to Nukkad Shows.
Brand integrity always matters, so while merging WittyFeed into STAGE, we realized that we should rename all other properties of WittyFeed also. And hence we decided to rename one of the most important properties of WittyFeed – ‘Dunia Digest’ to ‘Nukkad Videos’.
We are only changing the name of our page and not the subject of our Page. Nukkad denotes “a place where people meet and share their thoughts, opinions in an informal, friendly way”. This is in sync with our content’s core, where “we relay information around business, entertainment, health, lifestyle, etc in a friendly, easy to understand manner through our character-based format”. And as we have been producing the same content for a long time, we have built the audience with the same content and our audience is used to this content already and they have accepted our new name.
