Madhav Sheth (CEO) realme India Said that the contribution of e-commerce in overall smartphone sales has increased because of the consumer getting a variety of choices and eCommerce platforms extending the delivery services level to tier 3 and 4 Markets.
Vikas Agarwal general manager of one plus India Said that online “ For Smartphone, online has become a dominating sales channel this festive season and could account for almost 60% of total sales”, The festive month is a very crucial period for the industry and it contributes approx 30% of annual sales he said.
Last month overall Indian market sells television about 4 lakh units a month and online focussed Xiaomi said it sold over six lakhs television in previous months.
Leading television makers dropped their televisions cost in e-commerce much more than in offline three industry executives said.
Manish Sharma (CEO) Panasonic India said e-commerce focussed products and attractive cost proposition drove online sales of television “It’s just not the online focussed but even the large omnichannel brands are now focussing on growing television e-commerce business. The trend is becoming similar to smartphones”, he said.
