Concept of 30 under 30:
Forbes India has presented 30 under 30. All the people who have been featured in the list have all created something formidable with limited exposure and resources with just one goal in mind: To stand out from the crowd!”
Every year, Forbes India rolls out its 30 under 30 list – a traditional legacy across different categories like technology, healthcare, finance, science, media, design, fashion, sports, entertainment and much more – nominations can come from any niche provided people have made difference in their niches.
Methodology:
It’s a 3-fold process that starts with interviews by Forbes India team with sources across relevant categories as well as through studies of databases ad-media coverage.
Then on forbesindia.com inviting applications who fit the criteria. The last step is spreading the word on various social media.
Initially, there were around 255 names across 17 categories. The team then narrows down and shortlists the name that is most likely to make it to the top 30s.
Forbes India 30 under 30:
The youngest member who made it to the club is Saurabh Chaudhary (17 years old) a teenager from Meerut district is an award-winning shooter and holds 2 world record against his name.
This year we have some 17 categories including Digital Content Creators. Let’s have a look.
1. Rapido Co-founders:
We’re all well aware of Rapido – and affordable ride-hailing service present in 100 cities. The team has made one of the most sought-after start-ups in India.

2. Sai Pallavi:
A 27-year-old Telugu actress was starred in Telugu movies like Rana Daggubati & Naga Chaitanya. Pallavi envisions to be a better actor and play in more diversified roles in the near future.
Category – Actor.
3. Bhuvan Bam
We’re all aware of our very own Bhuvan! A fantastic Youtuber who made us laugh with his witty videos. Bhuvan’s account has around 2 million subscribers and he was recently invited to the World Economic Forum.

4. Palak Shah
CEO of Ekaya – aims to make Indian textiles stand out to and nurture in craftmanship and propagate their versatility and global appeal. A 28-year-old entrepreneur vision than as theatre of textiles.

5. Gaurav Chaudhary
You need to thank this man for giving some generous reviews about gadgets and electronics. 28-year-old man’s YouTube channel by the name of technical guruji has some 15 million subscribers and our favorite guruji also tells how a gadget works.

6. Akshay Chaturvedi
Our 29-year-old CEO of Leverage Edu is a platform on career counseling and university admissions. Till now his start-up has managed around 10,000 students.
Category – eCommerce & Retail.
7. BharatAgri Cofounders
Sai Gole (26) & Siddharth Dialani (26) are the people behind BharatAgri – an algorithm based start-up tells farmers what to grow when to grow and how to grow for better production and their income.

8. Sanket Jadia
The 28-year-old artist deals with historical images that portray conflict and violence and how it shapes society’s perception of them.
Category – Art.
9. GoMechanic Cofounders
Rishabh Karwa (26) & Nitin Rana (29) cofounders of GoMechanic allow people to book quick and affordable car check services at any time of the day.
Category – Consumer Tech.
10. Akansha Deo Sharma
A 28-year-old creative designer in Ikea is the only Indian origin designer in the company. She is known for combining her knowledge of Indian textiles, handicrafts and construction techniques and come up with minimal and clean products.
