Popular YouTubers India- Next Big Brand

The way YouTube has evolved in India in the last few years is praiseworthy. The production, however, was not just for YouTube, but also its makers. We’ve seen teens become sensations, and on the video site, housewives become master chefs. After a promising career on YouTube, some also have an opportunity in Bollywood.

With an estimated 271 million users in India, YouTube has become every Indian household’s go-to entertainment channel. From travel videos to cooking recipes and DIY hacks to your favourite songs, at just the click of a button, YouTube has it all.

We made a list of 5 most popular YouTubers-

BB Ki Vines

One of the first Indians to taste success on YouTube was a 26-year-old YouTuber. Bam’s “BB Ki Vines” channel has a whopping 19.4 million user base. Bam’s big breakthrough came when he became one of the first 10 million subscribers on YouTubers.

BB Ki Vines uploads videos and comedy skits that revolve around an urban teen’s life, his family and friends. In his videos, Bam himself enacts all the characters. The fun truth is the characters portrayed are inspired by actual people that Bam encounters in his everyday life. Remember Mama Titu?

Bam is also a musician, songwriter and producer, aside from comedy. He has received numerous awards, including the “Filmfare Award for Best Short Film,” “Most Popular Youtube Channel,” “Global Entertainer of the Year,” and many more.

Ashish Chanchalani

Another 26-year-old, Ashish, has been on a journey to become one of YouTube’s leading content creators. Ashish left his engineering halfway to kickstart his YouTube channel that now has a large 21.6 million subscribers. Inspired by actor Akshay Kumar, Ashish’s social issues have always been outspoken. Comic skits and videos featuring him and his friends are part of his videos.

Amit Bhadana

What began as a childhood jest ended up in a career that now involves captivating millions of viewers on YouTube. By developing quirky vines, Amit Bhadana began his career as a content developer and amassed quite a fan following for his comedic timings and punchlines.

His disciples are keen on his famous dialogues. Amit is among those who compose and edit the scripts for their films. On YouTube, he now has over 21.6 million subscribers.

CarryMinati

CarryMinati is a YouTube phenomenon with a firm following of all demographics. Ajey Nagar a.k.a. Hailing from Delhi, at the young age of 10, Ajey began YouTube and has since dabbled in satire, gaming and rap.

Two YouTube channels are managed by Ajey- CarryMinati and ‘Carry is live. His roasting videos are available on the main Carry Minati channel and have a whopping 26.1 million subscribers.

His second channel, Carry Is Live, deals with gaming, where he plays the new games and keeps his 7.8 million fans hooked.

Sandeep Maheshwari

To the 17.1 million subscribers he has on YouTube, Sandeep Maheshwari is a prime inspiration. Sandeep, a motivational speaker, communicates with his fans through success stories where he encourages them to fulfil life goals. He focuses on different facets of life through his videos, such as seeking the right profession and mental health issues.

Sandeep Maheshwari won the British Council’s Young Innovative Entrepreneur Award and the Global Youth Marketing Forum’s Star Youth Achiever Award.
