Vida, Powered by Hero is a brand-new name for Hero MotoCorp’s growing mobility solutions, which include future electric vehicles (EV).
Hero MotoCorp has announced Vida, Powered by Hero, a brand-new identity for its growing mobility solutions, including forthcoming Electric Vehicles, as part of its persistent pursuit of its ambition – Be the Future of Mobility (EV).
Hero MotoCorp’s Chairman and CEO, Dr. Pawan Munjal, recently unveiled a $100 million Global Sustainability Fund. The fund will attempt to form global alliances, led by BML Munjal University (BMU) and Hero MotoCorp, to help more than 10,000 entrepreneurs develop ESG solutions that have a good impact on the environment.
On March 3, 2022, at an event held on Clarence Island in Dubai, Dr. Munjal outlined specific action items for bringing his vision to life. Vida’s new brand logo and ‘sunrise’ visual design were unveiled today.
Dr Pawan Munjal stated, “Vida means life, and the brand’s sole purpose is to create a positive impact on the world and move us all forward in meaningful ways. We believe the name is perfect for what we are building for our children and the next generation. This is truly the dawn of something special. In only 17 weeks from today, we will unveil our Vida platform, products and services to make the world a better place.
“When I see our future generations, especially my grandchildren, all I want to do is build a future of optimism, a future of positive energy, a clean future, where everyone has something to look forward to and participate in something bigger and better. With the creation of ‘Vida’ we will offer everyone the opportunity to thrive, grow and live better while continuing to move the way they want. I will lead this initiative from the front,” Dr Munjal added.
Dr Munjal presented the new brand to lead the global mobility transformation as a core pillar of the future-ready strategy. Vida will be the brand under which Hero MotoCorp’s initiatives for developing mobility solutions will be launched, the first of which will be an electric vehicle that will be unveiled on July 1, 2022, to coincide with Dr Brijmohan Lall’s, Chairman Emeritus of Hero MotoCorp’s, birthday.
The new Vida will be manufactured at Hero MotoCorp’s manufacturing site in Chittoor, India. Customer deliveries will commence later in 2022.
Global thought leaders, senior government representatives and the diplomatic corps in the UAE, policymakers, and many stakeholders of Hero MotoCorp, including the Board of Directors, senior employees from around the world, dealers, global distributors, supply chain partners, and other associates, were among those who attended the event.
