FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Limited today announced it has completed the GSKCH merger successfully.

HUL will use its network of distribution to sell products like GSK’s Eno, Crocin, Sensodyne.
During the last financial year, the company of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Limited had a turnover of Rs 45 billion and the main contribution to this was through the brands Horlicks and Boost. “GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Limited’s merger with HUL has been based on an exchange ratio of 4.39 HUL shares for each share of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Limited,” the firm said. The current holding of Unilever in HUL now stands at 61.9% from the previous 67.2%.
Recently, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) said it had signed an agreement with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd to acquire VWash, its intimate grooming brand.
The deal includes the acquisition of intellectual property rights including trademarks, design, and know-how related to the VWash brand, which was launched in 2013 and is the market leader in the category of female intimate hygiene.
