“After the US, India is the second-largest market and the Asia Pacific region’s largest. We also have over half a million companies and half a million active jobs listed on India’s website. After launching in India, we have expanded 20X, which is phenomenal, and specifically, in the last four years we have tripled our membership base, “said Ashutosh Gupta, India’s country manager for LinkedIn.

LinkedIn Lite, the first product made in India, has already been released in more than 60 markets and 10 million downloads have been reached.
The business also incorporated training and distribution as two other products after talent and advertising strategies.
A key factor for companies that adopt LinkedIn is their ability to reach the target audience, while the B2C segment has been driven by people seeking outcomes such as jobs or networking.”I think our value proposition has resonated with people. Our network’s size and scale make it effective. Young people are constantly thinking about moving forward in life and we have as many job openings as possible, “he said. In the future, the focus of LinkedIn is to bridge the “network gap.”
This is reflected in the APAC survey findings of LinkedIn’s’ Network Trends,’ which highlights that 42 percent of Indian professionals claim to have an above-average network, and 88 percent feel satisfied with their current jobs out of that 42 percent.
