With 36.5 million installs, ASMR Slicing by Crazy Labs was the world’s most downloaded mobile game for May 2020. During this time, the countries with the most installs of the game were the United States at 12 percent of their total downloads and Brazil at 9.6 percent. Tencent’s PUBG Mobile was the world’s second-most-installed mobile game with 34.2 million installations last month, representing a 91 percent year-over-year increase from May 2019. India was the country with the largest number of PUBG Smartphone installs at 35.8 percent, followed by Egypt at 7.2 percent. Garena Free Fire from Garena, Save The Girl from Lion Studios, and Playrix’s Gardenscapes rounded out the world’s top five most installed mobile games for the month.
Moon Active’s Coin Master notably entered the top 10 download rankings last month on the App Store. Over the past year, the game has dramatically increased user engagement, becoming a global top grosser, mainly thanks to revenue from Google Play. But since January 2020, App Store downloads have been on the rise, hitting a record 5 million in May, suggesting a concerted user acquisition campaign on Apple’s marketplace. This has coincided with a large increase in player spending last month, another record, which grew to $36.6 million on iOS.

Ludo King also boasts a feature of real-time chat, statistics checking, options to save the previous game and themes to improve the overall experience. During the shutdown, the userbase of Ludo King nearly tripled to 9.5 million, up from 3.7 million from March 1 through March 11. Ludo King has earned more downloads since March 1, than PUBG Mobile, one of the most popular mobile games in India.
Ludo King has outgrown top gaming titles such as Candy Crush Saga, PUBG, Clash of Clans, Subway Surfers, Temple Race, and others in India’s monthly active users.
