Today, we want to share the story of Midhula Devabhaktuni, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder, Mivi. She has started her business journey in a competitive electronic consumer products market with Mivi.
How Midhula Started Her Inspiring Journey?
Midhula Devabhaktuni is the Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder at Mivi. She leads and manages the marketing and sales part of the organization.
She completed her graduation from Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Andhra Pradesh, in 2008 and moved to the United States to pursue a master’s in computer science from Florida State University. She later did her MBA from the same university.
Creative, pragmatic, and proactive problem-solver, Midhula started her career as a software engineer with Xerox in the year 2011. After working with the company for two and a half years, she moved to a financial firm, Raymond James in 2014, as a software engineer.
After working with the company for one and a half years, Midhula decided to quit her job and came back to India in 2015. In October 2015, she along with her husband Viswanadh laid the foundation of Mivi. They saw a huge potential to make a difference by introducing quality products to the Indian market in the electronics segment.
Her one mantra for Mivi is ‘No one can promote your product better than a happy customer’.
She vouches that their products are built locally are better than any International brand and strongly believes that the people are all in support of Vocal for Local and that their Made In India products is going to change the face of Electronics in the coming few years.
Mivi Growth is Amazing
Founded in 2015, Mivi deals in D2C electronic products like blue tooth speakers, earbuds, earphones, speakers, duopods, and other related items. From day one, Mivi established itself as the brand having quality products. After brand recognition, the company got different attractive offers to sell low-quality products with a big profit. Mivi rejected all those proposals.
If a customer complains about the default product, Mivi doesn’t repair it. It provides a new product to the customer. This practice has won the trust of customers. The company considers customers as brand ambassadors.
Midhula with his partner has supported the vocal for the local initiative of the Government in India. She feels that India has the capability to be self-dependant and we can also establish ourselves in the international market. She praised the local audience a lot for having trust in a new India product. She also feels that India can grow exponentially if we respect our manufacturing units and support them.
In a competitive market like electronic consumer products, it is very difficult to establish a new entry. Midhula has shown the way to other local firms about how we can compete with big players. Currently, Mivi has stiff competition with Xiaomi, Apple, One Plus, and other known brands.
