A month ago, the startup received $3.2 million in a seed round from 16 unicorn entrepreneurs, including Vijay Shekhar Sharma and Ritesh Agarwal, and other investors. The funding will be used to hire a tech team with strong problem-solving skills who will be able to construct and scale the product.
The product is presently being tested with a few thousand people before being released to the general public next month. In a recent interview, Jasveer Singh, Zorro’s co-founder and CEO, stated that the product is ready and would be released to the public in February.
“One key issue in this day and age is paid PR, paid tweets and even paid reviews. Often the truth is hidden on the 6th page of Google search results. Zorro is a pseudonymous social network that is ring-fenced and moderated content.” shared the cofounder.

This gives you a clean & authentic timeline consisting of people from your network, sharing & consuming content freely. Moreover, we are fortunate to have some great founders on board, who bring a wealth of experience to the table,” added, Co-founder & CEO Jasveer Singh.
Zorro is an early-stage startup that provides a platform for people to engage and share their opinions anonymously. Jasveer Singh, Abhishek Asthana, and Deepak Kumar are the co-founders. Singh has already founded businesses, while Asthana, often known online as GabbbarSingh, has a decade of expertise establishing brands and businesses. Kumar, the company’s CTO, has worked with Inshorts, Paralleldots, and BlackBeltHelp.
The Zorro app is in the development stage and is expected to launch in 2022.
