Shreya Sachdev PUMA- Next Big Brand

  • The global sports brand PUMA has named Shreya Sachdev as Head of Strategic Initiatives and Marketing. In addition to her current role as heading Strategies, she will also be in charge of leading creative, brand marketing, and brand identity management.
  • Recently, PUMA has teamed up with its brand ambassador, Bollywood Star Kareen Kapoor Khan.

The global sports brand PUMA has named Shreya Sachdev as Head of Strategic Initiatives and Marketing. In addition to her current role as heading Strategies, she will also be in charge of leading creative, brand marketing, and brand identity management. Shreya will continue to report to Abhishek Ganguly, General Manager of PUMA India, and Southeast Asia and will be a part of the management team of the company.

Commenting on the promotion, Abhishek Ganguly, General Manager of PUMA India, and Southeast Asia said, “The mark distinction of PUMA in the Indian market stems from our unorthodox marketing strategy. We have always believed in telling the right stories, with the right content, and most compellingly creating a link with customers. Shreya’s analytical skills coupled with her innovation inclination will further help create local relevance for our marketing excellence in the coming years.

In 2019, Shreya joined PUMA to manage Strategic Initiatives. Her vast and varied experience had seen her lead several main initiatives successfully. Shreya had worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company before joining PUMA. She holds an MBA in marketing from IIM Lucknow and a Lady Shri Ram College undergraduate degree in literature.

Speaking of her new job, Shreya said, “I was enthusiastic about the success PUMA brand has had on the Indian market even before joining the team. To me, it is really rewarding to have a chance to associate the brand and customers. PUMA is known to develop innovative brand campaigns with an emphasis on customer engagement. I look forward to working with some of the best minds in India to further expand on our marketing excellence.

Recently, PUMA has teamed up with its brand ambassador, Bollywood Star Kareen Kapoor Khan. Kareena joins the brand’s roaster of dynamic female personalities such as Adriana Lima, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, Sara Ali Khan, MC Mary Kom and Dutee Chand with this association.
