Remove China Apps, an app that claims to have all of the Chinese apps identified and deleted has crossed 1 million downloads on Google Play Store. Thanks to the growing friction between India and China, the app has become increasingly popular on the Play Store. The Delete China Apps on Google Play Store has been ranked 4.8 stars and is currently one of the top games.
It has been created for “educational purposes only” according to the app developers. “This application is being developed for educational purposes only to identify the country of origin of a particular application(s), we do not promote or force individuals to uninstall any of the applications. Detecting the country of origin is based on market research, but we do not guarantee correct/false information, so users should only act on their own will, “reads the description of the application.
The app as the name suggests hunts down and uninstalls the software created by Chinese companies. The app went live on May 17 at the Google Play Store and has since been downloaded more than 10 Lakh times.
Here’s how to remove China Apps works
— When you download the app from the Google Play Store, you do not need to log in to start working. Users can simply select “scan,” and all of the Chinese apps will be automatically identified.
— The app will however only identify applications that have been downloaded from the Play Store or third parties. The pre-installed software won’t be deleted.
— The app was developed by OneTouchAppLabs, developers based in Jaipur.

The Remove China Apps is currently available to Android users, and there is no clarity as to whether or not iOS users will be getting this app in the near future.
Another short Mitron video-making platform appeared on the Google Play Store earlier. The app was reportedly designed to take on TikTok, which is owned by Bytedance and has been fighting controversy in India for quite some time now. It has been downloaded over five million times and received ratings of 4.8 on the Google Play Store.
Recently, TikTok had a poor run on the Play Page, when it was recently downvoted to 1 star. However, Google got rid of the app’s more than 8 million negative reviews, and ratings returned to 4.8. The app had also been uninstalled by many users across the country.
