In a bid to expand and set their feet in Mumbai they have come up with a new channel called Binge that will primarily create binge-worthy content for ( but not limited to) tier 2 and tier 3 cities audience.
The bigger picture of the acquisition is to use DC founders Aakash Kumar & Kshitiz Sudhakar’s strength to create medium and long format web shows and tv series for the OTT platforms.
Aakash and Kshitiz are TVF alumni and have worked in the digital content industry since 2016. While Aakash is associated with shows like Zeroes, and have done several short format content during his tenure at TVF like Bade Chote, Super Hero Series; Kshitiz has been a part of shows like Sony Liv’s Gullak, TSP’s Weekends and Awkward Conversations With Parents, MX Players’ Immature, Chai Sutta Chronicles Season 02. He has driven the team TSP back in 2018.
Aakash has also worked as a creative head at RVCJ Digital Media where he substantially improved the content and the reach of the channel while Kshitiz has spent a while at Reliance Entertainment’s Big Synergy as a Creative Producer adapting foreign shows to an Indian setting.

Founded by Mayank Yadav in 2019 – Rusk Media Private Limited is the parent company of channels like Alright, Hatke, Lit, and Recharge. The company is rapidly growing and aims to keep up with the momentum.
Talking about this acquisition and journey of Digital Commentary Aakash Kumar, (Co-Founder, Digital Commentary) said, ” I started as an intern at TVF. I was an assistant directon on TVF Bachelors, Fathers etc then i was promoted to Director. While working with TVF, i along with Abhinav decided to revive TSP, So we started shooting small sketches and listicles.I created IP’s like Bade Chote, Baap Baap Hota Hai, Superheroes etc. In next 2 years we made it a 3 M (Subscribers) Channel.
After that i joined RVCJ as their Head Of Content and worked with them to establish the channel. The vision behind DC is to bring the stories of the storytellers.
Along with DC, We started developing 2 Full length web shows under our Fiction Wing last year, now it’s ready and soon we ll start shooting it.
Binge! is a new fiction platform dedicated to creating premium binge-worthy content (Short & Long Format) for the millennials. At Binge!, We want to bring back the old comedy culture in India.
