David Haigh, chief executive of Brand Finance highlights that there is much more to celebrate for TCS – fastest growing IT services.

“As we’ve seen over the past year, this growth has been driven by TCS’s laser-focus on fostering long-lasting partnerships with its customers, but also making enduring and meaningful investments in the communities where it operates around the world,” he added.

“2018 was a year of celebrations at TCS, marking the completion of five decades of industry-leading customer satisfaction, business performance, and community impact, the past year was characterized by momentum and milestones for TCS, including reaching $100 billion in market capitalization, securing record-level new customer partnerships in digital services, and our Business 4.0 framework resonating with customers across industries and the globe.” – said Ravi Viswanathan, Chief Marketing Officer, TCS.

Year-on-year growth in brand value in 2019 contributed to humongous growth in the TCS services brand. Company’s chief executive, Rajesh Gopinathan is in the top 100 global CEOs as according to Brand Guardianship Index – Which rates CEOs on how well they scale up as brand ambassadors based on investments, stakeholder’s growth and business performance.

“Our principal goal is to be the primary growth and transformation partner for our customers,” said N Ganapathy Subramaniam, chief operating officer, TCS.

Over the past decade, TCS was focused on building its presence and strengthen its brand across numerous global markets. TCS became a strategic partner to the World Economic Forum and European Business Summit and hosted other annual industry forums for C-suite customers and partners.

The brand also invested in a number of comprehensive portfolios of brand sponsorship platforms, from TCS New Your City Marathon & TCS Amsterdam Marathon, to several other running events in the UK, Sweden, Japan, Singapore, Australia, India, and the Philippines.

All these annual events brought together more than 10000 business executives. TCS’s global brand awareness with C-level executives has doubled to 84% in the last decade.

Apart from TCS, here are some Indian brands that have also made significant changes in their brand value.
