Google India today announced its annual leaderboard of YouTube ads for India as part of the 2019 annual wrap-up. The YouTube Ads Leaderboard gathers ads that earn from viewers across the country the highest views, likes, and affection. Despite YouTube now approaching 265 million active monthly users as per ComScore 2019 (April), the content has become a staple over the years, making it a go-to destination for brands. Nine unique inspirations have been highlighted by the South Korean automaker, who entered India market this year with car brand Kia Seltos, made its maiden television campaign.
The campaign ended up showcasing the new car model Seltos and its unique design, from an astronaut, ballerinas, hummingbird to even a tiger. The ad thanked with more than 232 million views so far as YouTube’s most viewed commercial.
- Samsung India| Good Vibes App: Caring for the Possibilities
For their Good Vibes app, the smartphone maker has created a campaign to help the deaf and blind connect with others. The movie, created by the advertising agency Cheil, tells the story of a blind and deaf young girl who uses the Good Vibes app to reach out to her family. The ad struck a chord from the netizens with over 205 million views so far.
- PepsiCo India |Har Ghoont Mein Swag
Cola brand Pepsi put together actors from Bollywood to reach out to young customers through the’ Har Ghoot Mei Swag ‘ campaign, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. The commercial, released as a Pepsi anthem, features the young actors on a foot-tapping number along with rapper Badshah crooning. So far, the ad has received more than 153 million views.

The television commercial highlighted the Mi TV brand’s smart features, specifically the Google Assistant-powered voice command capabilities. The company leveraged actors Sumeet Raghavan and Rupali Ganguly’s on-screen chemistry, who also starred in Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai comedy show episode. Together with the star child actor Aryan Randhawa, the impressive on-screen appearance and interactions of the couple concentrate on how the Mi TV is the most perfect Smart TV to have at home and how it is deeply integrated into their daily lives. The film has more than 133 million views.

The ad spot for the F11 pro model of the Chinese handset maker OPPO was all about key features and sleek design. With more than 4, 08, 000 views on YouTube, the ad was able to attract the interest of viewers.
