Under the partnership Wow! Momo kiosks will be placed in the country’s Café Coffee Day (CCD) outlets to build wider reach and network. In turn, the two homegrown brands aim to deliver a broader range of creative food offers. Wow! Momo is expected to distribute its goods in the country’s select Café Coffee Day outlets in all three conventional formats-dine-in, takeaway, and delivery.
The project is scheduled to be piloted across 30 plus outlets by the end of July in three major Indian cities including Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Mumbai. Yeah! Just wow! Momo envisages ramping up this number into more nationwide Café Coffee Day outlets.
All companies have established a business model where costs and income can be shared.
With this momentous creation, Wow! Momo and Cafe Coffee Day set the tone for QSR 2.0 in India where agility and innovative ways of serving consumers are combined.

Through this partnership, the two aim to push the boundaries of innovative food and drink experience for both momo and coffee lovers across India.
“CCD is the ideal match for our brand because both of our menus complement each other in a deliciously fulfilling way. The new creation represents our ‘more wow every day’ philosophy that is at the core of all our initiatives,” he added.
The coffee drinking experience inside India has been redefined by Café Coffee Day and owns over 1480 outlets across India. According to Vinay A Bhopatkar, CEO of Café Coffee Day, the whole collaboration aims to bring a cohesive brand experience for its consumers and to increase the elasticity of its offer.
Café Coffee Day is now looking to create a cohesive experience for its customers around the world, staying true to its tagline, ‘A lot can happen over coffee.’ The company also claims that the alliance between Café Coffee Day and Wow amid the global pandemic, though people have gradually begun to adjust to the new standard! Momo will be a fresh start and give consumers another excuse to come to Café Coffee Day and experience more with a one-time visit to the shop.
“This idea came from the thought that adversity is an opportunity and we were thinking about how to reverse this adverse situation. We feel that brands coming together and leveraging each other strength is very important. This is going to be very important in the coming times. This is our first step towards co-creation. Wow! Momo is set to deliver a wider palette of creative products to enhance the customer experience. Its momos range includes steamed, fried & pan-fried formats largely invariants of white and brown flour. These include delightful delights like Sizzler Momos, MoBurg (Momo Burgers), Momos Pizzeria, Momos Tandoori, and more. Currently, the company has over 345 outlets in 16 cities across India.
Last year, Wow! Momo was valued at over Rs 860 crore with a Rs 120 crore infusion from Tiger Global as series B funding.
Café Coffee Day has 1,480 cafés throughout the country and operates through Coffee Day Global Limited, a Coffee Day Enterprises Limited subsidiary.
Café Coffee Day pioneered the coffee culture in India’s chained café section, and in 1996 opened the first café in Bengaluru.
