  • Bengaluru FC who are the Champions of the Indian Super League named Wrogn as the new lifestyle partner of the club for the 2019-20 season on Saturday.
  • Wrogn will provide fashion apparel and accessories to the Blues throughout for the season.

Champions of the Indian Super League, Bengaluru FC, named Wrogn as the new lifestyle partner of the club for the 2019-20 season on Saturday. Wrogn which is endorsed by Virat Kohli will provide fashion apparel and accessories to the Blues throughout for the season.

“We are delighted to expand our partnership with Wrogn–a brand that resonates in the stands with the team’s energy on the pitch and our passionate fans. As a club, we are committed to making the right partnerships, and we think that this relationship is one of them, “said Mandar Tamhane, CEO of Bengaluru FC.

Commenting on the association, Anjana Reddy, CEO USPL, Wrogn said, “This is our second season being associated with Bengaluru FC and it’s simply because of the club’s atmosphere blends with our brand perfectly. The team–all six years old, and their fans are young, zesty, echoing Wrogn’s feelings.

We look forward to another successful season together. “On Monday, at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, the Blues will start their third Indian Super League campaign with a clash against NorthEast United. Match tickets can be found on PayTM Insider.

The WROGN brand is owned by Universal Sportsbiz, a company based in Bengaluru in which Sachin Tendulkar became one of the earliest investors, picking up 21 percent for an unknown amount in 2013, within one year of the company’s incorporation in 2012.

The company’s largest shareholder and founder, Anjana Reddy, is a member of the family-owned by the Deccan Chronicle group, which had previously owned the IPL team Deccan Chargers before it was taken over by the Kalanithi Maran-led Sun group and renamed it in 2012 by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Universal Sportsbiz’s other shareholders are Accel Partners, which holds the company’s preference share. Accel is an American venture capital firm that has also invested in big start-ups including Flipkart and Twitter.

Bengaluru Football Club is a Bengaluru, Karnataka-based Indian professional football club. The club is playing as an Indian Super League team, one of Indian football’s top leagues. The club is owned and operated by the JSW Group based in Mumbai and its managing director, Sajjan Jindal. Since the beginning of the 2014–15 season, Bengaluru has played every home game at Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

Bengaluru FC is considered one of the model clubs of India due to their dominant performances and is led by the icon of India, Sunil Chhetri.

This partnership marks a great start between one of the leading fashion brands and one of the leading football clubs in India.
