  • The Diwali With Mi, Big Billion Days 2019, and Great Indian Festival sales are live until Friday, October 4.
  • Various exchange offers and bank discounts are attracting more and more customers.
  • Xiaomi has also asserted that its Mi Air Purifier 2S is the bestseller in the category of air purifier.

In the first few hours of the sale, Xiaomi sold more than 1.5 million devices across different platforms. Manu Jain, Xiaomi India’s Managing Director, revealed that during the sale on Mi.com, Amazon India and Flipkart, the firm sold 10 phones every second. The sales amount includes products such as smartphones, Mi TV, IoT and ecosystem. But most revenues came from smartphones, a statement confirmed by the business.

Xiaomi has indicated that during the festive season sales on Amazon and Flipkart, five out of the top 10 best-selling smartphones are its Mi and Redmi models. Similar is the case with Mi TVs, which debuted in the intelligent TV category as the top two out of three bestsellers. It is also claimed that the Mi Band designs and Mi Security Camera have reached the top two place out of three bestsellers in the categories of wearable and security camera.

Xiaomi has also asserted that its Mi Air Purifier 2S is the bestseller in the category of air purifier.

“Several new Mi TVs, Redmi 8A and appealing offers were introduced this year on Redmi Note 7 series, Redmi 7, Redmi 7A etc,” said Raghu Reddy, Head of Categories and Online Sales, Xiaomi India, in a press release.

We are both thrilled and humbled by all the love we have received from our clients and Mi Fans throughout India. We hope these acquisitions by Xiaomi will usher in everybody’s festive cheer,” he added.

Both the sale of the Great Indian Festival by Amazon India and the sale of the Big Billion Days by Flipkart are currently underway and will continue until October 4.

Amazon India had previously announced Digital Bharat’s record involvement in its Great Indian Festival Sale. The e-commerce giant saw one-day record sign-ups for Prime membership and 91% of new clients came from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. It also observed that Echo Dot was among the largest selling products and, in 36 hours compared to last year, four times more Amazon phones were purchased.

The sales show that Xiaomi has won the market across product categories and no longer restricted to smartphone sales alone.
