  • Xiaomi Mi 10 series sold out in a minute and the Chinese smartphone company generates $28.65 million (INR204.8 crore) in revenue.
  • Officially launched in China at an online-only event

Another amazing thing about the event is that Xiaomi is yet to enter India with its Xiaomi Mi 10 series. Another round of wonders is still waiting for the Chinese smartphone brand.

Was It the Right Time to Roll Out Xiaomi Mi 10?

Even if tech analysts or anyone doubts about it then maybe they are unknown to the fact that Xiaomi Mi 10 bubble on the Internet just went planet-like big. India being Xiaomi’s superstar markets is yet to see the magic.

Although Xiaomi Mi 10 was to be launched on 23rd Feb at Mobile World Congress 2020. But MWC2020 got canceled due to coronavirus issues. The company was so optimistic that instead of delaying the launch, they pushed the dates back and went for an online launch.

Xiaomi Mi 10 getting sold out in a minute not only tells about its hype but also about the power of the internet.

Competitor Updates:

Smartphones have the power to disrupt the entire market with every launch. Provided that new launches are over and above the expectations and generate so much hype that seems impossible to control by the competition.

Samsung Galaxy S20 and top-end Galaxy S20 Ultra are said to be its competitors. But it is really hard to beat the revenue generated by Xiaomi Mi 10 in just a minute.

Xiaomi is yet to enter the world’s 2nd largest smartphone market and achieve the unsaid. With this, it’s not wrong to say that the world has probably got its 1st nomination for the world’s best smartphone in 2020.

Samsung not only lost its market share to Xiaomi but with Vivo as well. Threats for Samsung smartphones are also coming from Oppo and Realme which are competing for head to head against Samsung’s market share in India.

What’s So Special About Xiaomi Mi 10?

In an interview regarding the production capacity of the Xiaomi Mi 10 series, Lei Jun said that the distribution was done carefully before a month of its release which made sure the company is stocked with enough supply when the 1st wave comes.

Pricing:

The Mi 10 series is said to come in the range of ₹40937 to ₹48000. Wait! There’s more. If you want to grab its pro series then you have to spend around ₹50000 – ₹62000.

But it seems like people overseas are welcoming Xiaomi 10 series with an open heart. We’ll have to wait and watch how we react to this smartphone when it finally arrives in the Indian market. Indian consumers will have to wait until May for this smartphone.

Wrapping Up:

While unwrapping of this smartphone is still awaited in India. But overseas people are drooling over the smartphone. If it takes 60 seconds for batch 1 getting sold out, it wouldn’t take much time for Xiaomi smartphones to become unbeatable in the smartphone category.

Here is Next Big Brand wishing all the best to Xiaomi and hope it does wonders (once again).
